Princess Peach: Showtime! - Chapter 41 - JacobLink2538 (2024)

Chapter Text

Peach and Stella were about to head to the Star Lift, and leave the basem*nt when suddenly, the glowing sigil of Madame Grape in the center of the basem*nt disappeared, and then a big door, which has Grape’s sigil on it, appeared. Peach and Stella approached the door.

“Oh,” Stella voiced out. “So this is where the door is. I thought it would be in the fifth floor.”

Peach giggled. “Right, then. Here are some Sparkle gems. Let’s get this baby open and confront Grape!”

“That’s right!” Stella replied as she got the gems from Peach and she used her powers to try to open the door.

The door opened a little bit, but unfortunately, the Sparkle gems weren't enough for Stella to open it all by herself. The door closed back after Stella got herself pooped out.

“It’s not working!” Peach cried.

“I don’t get it,” Stella said with much worry. “Does Sparkle not work in this door?”

“Oh, I really hope not!” Peach replied, desperately fighting tears. “When this door appeared, I was so happy. I thought I was on my way back to my Mario!”

“Mario?” The Ice Skater Sparkla asked as she and the rest of the Sparklas joined the heroic duo.

“Mario is Peach’s boyfriend,” Stella answered. “Grape took him hostage and is trying to force him to marry for; God only knows why.”

“I can’t believe this is happening!” Cried Peach. My life with him was perfect. I had a perfect opportunity to marry him and settle down with him and I blew it!”

“Why didn’t you want to marry him?” The Skater Sparkla asked. “I mean, if you really loved him, then–”

‘I thought I wasn’t ready!” Peach answered. “When I first met him, I always found him to be a dear friend. And year after year after year, he would always save me from Bowser and after that we do our thing together. One time, after he rescued me again, he asked me to marry him and I… I just couldn’t do it. As a matter of fact, I just wasn’t sure I was going to be ready to marry him at all. Until now, I never realized what I had until it was all gone.” She started crying. “I’d do anything to take it all back. I’d do anything to rescue him and set things right.”

“Anything?” The Swordfighter Sparkla asked Peach.

‘Yes,” Peach answered eagerly. “Anything!”

“That’s good to know,” The Patisierre Sparkla responded.

“Because we can help you get to him,” followed the Ninja Sparkla.

“All you have to do is concentrate your Sparkle along with the rest of us,” the Cowboy Sparkla explained, “and together, we can open this door and we can confront that no-good Madame Grape and save your Mario!”

“You guys have Sparkle, too,” Peach asked.

“Duh!” Replied the Mighty Sparkla. “We Theets have great power compared to other individuals in this galaxy. Now, come on! Let’s all concentrate and get this door open!”

The other Sparklas nodded with hums and they started concentrating. Suddenly, glowing blue stars appeared in the chests of all of the Sparklas.

Peach concluded that the glowing star symbols are Sparkle power. Seeing a lot of hope, she closed her eyes and she concentrated on her Sparkle, too.

“As Sparklas,” began the Swordfighter Sparkla, “we are counting on you, Peach, and Stella to set this right. We give you are power and our love for the theater!”

The Swordfighter’s nose glowed blue, and so did the others. Then, glitters of Sparkle surrounded Peach and Stella and sparkled onto them.

Peach and Stella held hands and they twirled around to do the merging and then everything brightened into white nothingness.

It took quite a while for the white nothingness to fade to color. When it did, Peach is no longer wearing her usual pink dress.

Peach is now wearing a glowing light blue dress and her hair has dropped down from her ponytail. She is also wearing a blue crystal crown on her head.

“Ohhh!” Peach reacted as she saw herself in the mirror. “This is a BEAUTIFUL dress! It's so... RADIANT!!!”

“Glad you enjoy it!” Stella responded. “You are now Radiant Peach!”

“Okay, everyone!” Peach said to her friends. Let’s open this door!”

Using their Sparkle, the whole group concentrated on opening the door to Grape. It took a while, but the door finally opened.

“All right,” Peach said, now more determined than ever to confront Grape, rescue Mario and save Sparkle Theater. “Let’s go! It’s Showtime!”

And with that Peach led her group through the big door and into a purple portal. On the other side of the portal is the moment of truth.

The final battle is about to begin.
