Job DescriptionLearning Management System AdministratorGeneral DescriptionOU Health seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning Management System Administrator responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of HealthStream. The successful candidate should possess strong technical skills, have a solid foundation of knowledge in managing an LMS platform, and collaborate effectively with multiple departments to ensure that all education is tracked correctly in the LMS system. This position will report to the Director of Employee and Leadership Development and will be the source of knowledge for all employee needs related to the HealthStream Learning Management System. The LMS Administrator role will optimize the platform to meet the organization's educational needs and ensure a seamless user experience. Essential ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Leads and manages the HealthStream learning management system (LMS) administration to ensure orientation, education, and competency records are complete and accurate.
Enrolls and assigns team members in the appropriate courses in the LMS.
Manages all aspects of the LMS system, including, but not limited to, importing course content, course approvals, post‐tests, and the evaluation process to ensure tasks are completed within given timeframes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS platform, ensuring that all technical problems are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Designs and develops interactive online training modules in collaboration with content experts.
Analyzes, identifies, and communicates LMS system and business requirements to vendors.
Maintains data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors.
Investigates and resolves any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies.
Creates and updates training requirements in the LMS.
Leads the establishment, documentation, and enforcement of registration, scheduling, and cancellation of courses.
Accurately tracks new, deleted, and revised items in the learning management system.
Processes course updates and monitors user access for monthly usage reporting.
Audits compliance and certification requirements.
Provides training and technical support to users, supervisors, and others who interact with the learning management system.
Works with educators to ensure proper setup and system support for complex learning activities within the LMS.
Sets and maintains security roles and access levels. Manages all administrators and individual users of HealthStream and purges old users to keep organizational compliance and correctly track licensing/seating capacity.
Gather and analyze user demographics through surveys to assign accurate information and keep content relevant.
Generate, analyze, and prepare LMS reports based on requests for organizational needs.
Research opportunities to improve efficiency by maximizing LMS usage most effectively.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in LMS administration and e-learning development.

Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Experience: At least 5-7 Years of Experience working as an LMS Administrator maintaining an LMS platform. Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: NoneKnowledge, Skills And Abilities
Ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of technical tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset being able to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
Effective communication and collaborative skills, able to partner with multiple teams and critical stakeholders.
Background in Instructional design and eLearning development; know how to use Adobe Captivate, Articulate, etc.
Strong knowledge of SCORM files and different eLearning software formats.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of Adult learning methodologies and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, with flexibility and capacity to identify and administer competing operational priorities in a changing environment with creativity and resourcefulness.
Effectively communicate with vendor’s software support staff regarding system-specific issues.
Maintain flexibility and willingness to adjust to changing conditions while working with minimal supervision.
Promptness, dependability, and attention to detail.
