After over 5 years with Piper Maddox I made the decision to say my bittersweet goodbye. And what a 5+ years it has been!It was an incredible journey and one that I will surely never forget. I’m grateful for all that I have learned, the people I’ve met, and the connections I’ve made.From speaking at and attending conferences, publishing our first battery talent salary survey, traveling to Greece and Mexico for incentive trips, becoming a member of MC Club, hitting their trasure chest incentive, developing a partnership with Volta Foundation, and making the move to Miami to open a new office, the memories and lessons are endless!Can’t forget serving as Chief Funk Officer!Thank you to those who mentored me and coached me over the years to accomplish the above and more; Thomas Rochford , Chloe England , Alex Cohen , Mike Bott , Anne-Marie Butts , Benjamin Richardson , Michael Georgiou , Carmen Lamolda Velasco !Can’t forget those who I have had the honor of managing; Kylie Leberman Mikayla Fallon Christian Hess Emma Mallas and those I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside; Michael Wald Charlie Walker Ashlyn Coutts Samantha Keay Ben Greenfield Quentin Klein Sabrina Ettinger Patrick Mooney Conor McStay Lacey Collins Many more but truly some of the greatest humans and recruiters I know!I have decided to move back up to New York to start the next stage of my career, more updates to come on that later!To the friends I’ve made along the way Max Wright Jack Lyons Sam Brown Bianca Ramirez Jason Chacho Zane Himsworth Jake Bentwood Lionel Nyama Ian Pope I’ll see you at the pub soon!

Battery Swapping, could that solve a major challenge for #electricvehicles?It's widely known that one of the major hurdles in the adoption of electric vehicles is how long it takes to charge. Battery swapping could be the answer.Companies like NIO have been implementing this idea, and honestly I'm wondering why haven't we been doing this from the start!It's always been known how long it takes batteries to charge, and that fast charging can have negative impacts on the cycle life and integrity of current battery chemistries.Below is an example of what NamX is looking to do with #hydrogen fuel cells and NIO with their swapping technology.While I'm no engineer, as a consumer I would 100% be on board with this.What do you think? Of course like #EVcharging the infrastructure needs to be built, but would this be a better option for EVs?

Relocation assistance, something I've seen be extremely different from company to company. But for the most part I see two options for the financial side; a sign-on bonus or reimbursem*nt.Sign on of course has the benefit of being paid upfront as the name suggests, however gets taxed so you wont get the fully amount. Reimbursem*nt on the other hand doesn't get taxes yet you have to cover the upfront costs yourself.My question is quite simple...

FTC votes to ban noncompete agreements https://thehill.com🚫 FTC votes to ban noncompete agreements! But the questions are should and/or can they?While there are still many barriers to get through, this is a massive step for those in favor. Congress has proposed multiple bi-partisan bills presenting similar policies against noncompete.However, The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is heavily against the ban and plans to "sue" to block the rule.You can read more below, but what do you think?
