The American slasher media franchise includes 13 films, from 1978’s Halloween to 2022’s Halloween Ends. It’s often considered the most successful Halloween movie franchise of all time.
The storyline surrounds Michael Myers, the antagonist who murders his sister in the first film and escapes the sanatorium he’s placed in to continue his stalking and killing spree in the remainder of the movies. The notable character appears in each of the 13 films except for Halloween III: Season of the Witch, a standalone movie with no direct connection to the rest of the series.
