Die Hart 2: Die Harter is Prime Video's latest action comedy movie, with a stellar cast of well-known stars led by Kevin Hart himself. Hart began the franchise as a TV series that was released on the streaming service Quibi in 2020. The first season starred Hart alongside John Travolta and Josh Hartnett and was relatively successful with audiences and critics despite premiering on a lesser-known service. In 2023, the first season was edited down into the format of a feature film to be re-released, joining Prime Video's comedy movie library.

With that in mind, Die Hart 2: Die Harter is also a re-release of the show's second season, condensed for the film format. The second season boasted an exciting cast with star actors in minor roles, benefitting the film format as it was trimmed down, heightening their importance. The franchise takes a meta approach to Kevin Hart's life, adding an exciting true story element to the bizarre comedy and celebrity performances. Die Hart 2 hasn't received excellent reviews so far, but it's undoubtedly a fun action movie for Kevin Hart fans.
