I posted this video last year and the message is just as powerful now as it was then. The first time you watch it, the ending blindsides you. If you watch it a second time, you see all the hints. Check in on those around you <3

Have you checked in on someone today?Mental health isn't just personal—it's communal. 👇 Taking the time to ask someone how they're really doing, and taking the time to really listen, can make the difference between someone stepping off the platform, or feeling that they have enough resources to try again, for just one more day.Mental health struggles often go unnoticed, but a simple, heartfelt conversation can provide much needed support and connection. In my own professional and personal experience, I've seen time and time again, how authentic gestures, no matter how small, can make a large positive impact on a life that feels dark and hopeless.A genuine smile and thank you, reaching out to a colleague who's in the middle of an unexpected and unsettling career transition, a coffee or hike with an empty nester friend who's grappling with feelings of loss and the identity crisis of writing their next life chapter, a warm invitation to recently bereaved or divorced friends during the holiday season….these acts of loving kindness have the power to change everything.Regularly checking in on our loved ones, creates a positive impact that's undeniable.According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year, highlighting the importance of community support.Your check-in can be a lifeline for someone in need.Today, take a moment to reach out to a friend, family member, or colleague.A small gesture can make a big impact.Remember, we're all in this together.Always walking with you, because your journey matters🚀🔥✨If you found this post helpful, please repost it with your network.#mentalhealth #wellbeing #entrepreneurs #leadership #leadershipskills

Everyone on LinkedIn should read today's post."You'll never succeed in this market.""Why don't you give up and save yourself the stress?""You're too small to make a difference."Dear reader,These were some of the comments I received when I first started my business journey. Yes, public comments.(And trust me, these are some of the milder ones.)Why am I sharing this?Because running a business is tough, especially for MSME owners. The stress, the pressure, and the relentless grind can take a toll on our mental health. It’s easy to forget that behind every business is a person facing their own battles.June is Mental Health Awareness Month. ❤️I want to take this opportunity to remind you that there are real humans behind every business. Every decision, every challenge, every success story → Real people. We need to support each other, especially when times are tough. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your business.I've poured my heart into my upcoming book, sharing lessons from 30 years of experience to help you navigate these challenges. Stay tuned, because your well-being matters, and so does your success.Kindness costs $0 → Be sure to give it. Daily. That's all.P.S. Hello everyone,I hope you all are taking care of your health, not just physical but mental health too. Here's a short video clip, that helps reduce overthinking. This video is very special to me. Why? Because this is one of the videos that helped me fight depression and improved my mental health after I lost my will to work and form content due to some personal life issues. When all I used to think about was, how I'm drowning in this darkness by every passing day! this video, if watched with deep understanding really helps you to stop thinking about the stuff that falls out of our concern. And I think it solved half of my mental health problems when I made a routine to watch this first thing after waking up in the morning and promising myself to stick to it! Comment down your views on how do you take care of your mental health in this busy work-life routine? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻#CreatorMode #LinkedInCreator #ContentCreation #PersonalBrand #CareerAdvice #ProfessionalDevelopment #ThoughtLeadership #BusinessTips #Entrepreneurship #CareerGrowth #mentalhealth #overthinking #worklifebalance

What are you waiting for? 🤷🏻♀️✋ STOP waiting for others to reach out when they're struggling. ⛔️ Waiting is NOT enough.Too many people battle their mental health issues alone. The shame, fear and self hatred keeps them silent. 🤐I know how that feels. I was one of those people. 🎭It lost me friends, threatened to take my business and almost cost my life more than once. 🥺It's all our responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment where others feel comfortable opening up. ⏰ Don't wait until your too late. Get proactive. REACH IN! 🫂We can all make a significant difference to someone's life. The question is, Do you know how? 💚- - - 🚀Learn how to spot the warning signs and support your teams appropriately, and effectively? Life's journey is filled with ups and downs, and sometimes the lows can come in the form of depression. It can feel like a dark cloud that hovers, making everything seem daunting and overwhelming. But remember, you're stronger than you think, and building resilience is key to overcoming these obstacles. Here's how to do it:Start by acknowledging your feelings. It's okay to feel down, it's okay to struggle. It's part of being human. Accepting your feelings can be the first step towards healing.Next, celebrate your victories, no matter how small they may seem. Did you get out of bed today? Good job! Did you manage to make a meal for yourself? That's awesome! It's these small victories that stack up to bring about big changes.Don't be afraid to ask for help, whether it's from a trusted friend, a family member, or a mental health professional. Seeking support is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. And remember, it's okay to have bad days. Resilience doesn't mean avoiding tough times, it means facing them head-on and coming out stronger on the other side.Keep in mind, this journey is unique to you: take it one day at a time, one step at a time. You're not alone, and you are stronger than you think.#BuildingResilience #DepressionJourney #OvercomingObstacles #YouAreStrongerThanYouThink #ShareYourStory #austincounseling #sanantoniocounseling #dallascounseling #houstoncounseling #roundrockcounseling

I remember believing I would never recover from depression. To have no hope is really, really tough. To see no future is dangerous. It was a slow recovery, gradually learning the actions that would boost my mood. I now believe that we should manage our mood – not our time.I believe every person deserves to be part of a mentally healthy team, and feel valued, respected and appreciated. When we are in the green zone we are more productive, influential and creative. Teams in the green zone build resilience and growth, and reduce risk.I love sharing this message.I love being a professional speaker because sharing ideas can lead to conversations, and conversations can lead to action and change. As a Founding Board Director of R U OK?, I have watched this simple idea lead to substantial change. If you are seeking a speaker for R U OK? week – or mental health month in October please DM me or call 0414 487 072 or email support@graemecowan.com.au#mentalhealth #ruok365 #ruok

PSA!!!It’s ok to fall downAnd to lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get up,You rise as 🔥THE WHOLE DAMN FIRE 🔥 I read this a few months ago and put it on my whiteboard. And boy, is this true! We can lose our spark⚡️ in our personal life ⚡️ our job ⚡️ our business And that’s ok. As long as you make sure to claim it back. It might take days, it might take weeks or months. It might take a re-think 🤔But you will get it back. I did lose my spark a few years back, I was really struggling with my mental health, depression and grief. But I clawed my way out of it and changed one big thing...and became self employed...best decision ever!!!A few weeks ago I struggled about some business decisions. But I spoke to a few wise souls, got different opinions and viewpoints which helped me get a clearer picture. Reach out to people you trust!!!Have you done this? What's some REALLY good advise you were given?#businesssupport #advise #virtualassistant
